We would like to invite you to an informal event to celebrate the release of our first ever Galapagos charters. As a product manager here at Noble Caledonia, it is part of my role to search for areas of the world and vessels that can provide our discerning passengers with truly incredible experiences. I am sure you will understand that our ethos is not one of providing all the paraphenalia of big ship cruising or indeed sedentary holidays, but rather life affirming adventures. I believe that the Galapagos Islands provide the perfect location for small ship expedition cruising, offering unimaginable access to unique wildlife combined with the varied history of the islands and the South American mainland.

Our tours have been a year in the planning; the are set for May 2011 aboard La Pinta and November 2011 aboard Isabela II. The wonder of the extraordinary islands of the Galapagos is best explained by an expert who has come under their spell. Over the course of the last year I have been working with our partners at Metropolitan Touring and Pierre Thomas has been a tremendous help in ensuring our itineraries are perfectly designed for our guests. Pierre was raised in Zaire, the former Belgian Congo, he studied Tropical animal Husbandry, specialising in Tropical Fish farming. It was during his two apprenticeships in Rwanda and Ecuador that he fell in lve with the Galapagos Islands and moved his life to enable him to work as a Naturalist guide in the Galapagos National Park, from 1994 until 2003.

Pierre will join us on the evening to give a short presentation on the islands and our voyages, the details of the evening can be found below. I am very excited about this addition to our portfolio and do hope that you can join us for what will be a relaxed and informal evening at The Caledonian Club.

The 34-passenger Callisto is the last word in sophistication. A beautiful vessel, furnished like a country hotel, featuring 17 outside facing cabins. It is no surprise that all cruises for 2010 have sold out, and we are pleased to announce that for 2011, Callisto will be undertaking some interesting cruises to Libya, the Aegean, Adriatic and a circumnavigation of Sardinia. In addition there will be food and wine themed cruises along the east coast of Italy and Sicily.

For the past few years, the MS Clipper Odyssey has been operating some excellent cruises exploring Alaska’s Inside Passage, cruising around Japan and island hopping in the South Seas. For 2011, new destinations are planned including the Mediterranean and British Isles, therefore 2010 is your last chance to explore these beautiful areas of the world aboard the MS Clipper Odyssey. Cruises to Alaska include ‘Great Land of Alaska’ from 30th June to 15th July and ‘Natural Wonders of Alaska’ from 11th to 28th July. There are two cruises in the South Pacific, one from Easter Island to Tahiti from 17th October to 6th November and one from Tahiti to Fiji from 1st to 20th November.
